Vishy

Born in Tirunelveli, Grew up in Kuwait, "Studied" in Trichy, Continued studying in Buffalo and as of this point in time, working in California. Yes, I am proud to be based out of nowhere. I started playing the piano at the age of 10 and started writing music on fruity loops at the age of 15. The joy in creating music at that age was just out of this world and that's it, never looked back since.

Trichy was the turning point for me with my obsession. I founded the band Waterlemons and worked with some fantastic musicians and got to witness magic in the music scene of India (Skrat and The Down Troddence are two of my all-time favorite bands \m/). Brought that passion with me to the 'US of A' and started another band called Beyond Borders. Managing my Masters' Thesis and creating an Album made me feel alive again sincE Waterlemons! (I like to be dramatic, Sue me). Fittingly enough, the album was called Rubatosis and it was about finding the inner voice within ourselves.

I realized that 'letting go' is something I just don't do, consciously. Being myself is a concept that was lost the moment I left Kuwait to do my undergraduate except when I make, perform, research, or simply listen to music. In this deterministic universe that we live in, the least we can do is be ourselves. So here's me, out in the open, with my thoughts, my music, and other interesting ventures related to music (Website under continuous construction).
